Welcome. My name is John Reilly Arnautou (JR). I grew up in San Francisco, and love hiking and outdoor pursuits. I've always had an eye for photography, ever since I was a young kid. Through a Lens
I've often looked through a lens and found wonderful things. the camera is an extension of the human eye. it just captures what we see. from cinema cameras to point and shoots to the ubiquitous phone cameras, the lens does not change. We change, we see what might not be there, we see patterns, we see the beauty in the ordinary. this website, is for me to explore the extraordinary and the mundane. the fantastic and the ordinary.
